Also, what Lullaby say is heartbreaking: “I will be good, I won’t cry and wet the bed, etc…”
 
She begs to be loved, she would be the perfect filly because her “family” HATE her and she thinks that all of this was her fault. It’s very realistic in abused children, it’s awful but also good writing.
