@Nightmare Fuel
As far as anime goes, it’s an absolute classic. A seminal work of the magical girl genre, blending magical girl tropes with many of the trappings of the Super Sentai series (i.e., the show that would be adapted for the west as Power Rangers. Basically, I’m talking team-based superheroes).
It started as a manga, and there are a few different adaptations, but probably the most iconic version (at least here in the west) is the anime that aired in the 1990s. It was originally dubbed by DIC, localizing the show with western names for the characters and various other edits, but more recently Viz Media has done a complete redub of the show in a much more faithful fashion, retaining all of the original names and cutting no content. You can find it here for free.
You’re very welcome!
