Especially since his and Brand’s last stand at the Battle of Dale was pivotal for the northern front in the War of the Ring.

It’s a good thing Peter Jackon’s Hobbit movies stay true to the source material.
…For the most part.
I would’ve been pissed if Thorin lived cause his death was what got the others to stop fighting amongst themselves…
He’s also played by Billy Connolly, which adds to all of what you said
If Dain was one of the best parts of the Battle of the Five Armies, then I’m glad he made it through.
Everyone except for the ones I said below.
Oh, and also Thorin’s cousin, Dain Ironfoot, Lord of the Iron Hills.
This guy was badass. He wielded a war hammer and started pounding his enemies on a boar.
What cool dwarves survived in the movie?
Just finished an hour ago.
Sorry to tell you this but Thorin died.
Along with Kill and Fill. Smaug was killed by the bowman with the Black Arrow, There were tons of casualties from humans to orcs, elves to dwarves. I have no idea what happened to the Arkenstone though. Last seen with Bard the Bowman and he probably still has it. I’m quite surprised that Bilbo had been holding the ring for so long and yet is not entranced by it.
You saw the third Hobbit movie?
Hope DENIED!
Hopefully, he will survive in the actual movie. He was awesome.
