No one cares about those two, except the most of other ponies , what’s their influence except negative ones?

I had the chance to ask showrunner Jim Miller at one of the conventions if he recognized the two pegasi and knew who they were. He said “I know them as Background Pair #4 or something like that” and he didn’t know them by name. So ultimately, Cloudchaser and Flitter disappearing is due to turnover in the show staff with the current crew not knowing who they are.

I suspect that’s the case fr Rarity’s Parents and probably Dinky at least. Flitter wasn’t being used enough as it was.

Ok, gonna refresh some people’s memory:
 
Flitter and Cloudchaser have been in the show since Season 2. Since then, they became one of the most popular background ponies and they even had speaking roles sometimes. Usually shipped with Thunderlane. They appeared in every season except Seasons 1 & 8. And the only time they appeared in the very last season was just in a reused image of the last shot from Season 5 finale in “She’s All Yak” episode. That was their last appearance in the show. It’s just strange how they didn’t use these two more. They started to appear less since Season 7.

Some of us didn’t forget.

Rarity’s parents started hanging out with Applejack’s parents between seasons 8 and 9. Tragic DUKW boat tour accident while they were on vacation. That’s why they couldn’t be shown again.

What’d you expect? There’s hundreds of thousands of you. And from a franchise that got renewed several times after it was supposed to end, new chars being introduced all the way. It’s not possible to remember them lot of you individually.

Personally, I don’t really care about “every character” being there. But, if they were going to put the parents of our main characters, they should have put ALL of them!

It’d definitely be easier to list all the characters they didn’t forget.

“Forgot” implies that they even watched their episodes to begin with.

While the other parents have some backstories and unique personalities, Rarity’s parents barely have any stories and just being “there”.

What were they supposed to do? Put every single character that ever appeared ever? Yeah, don’t think so.

Out of all these “forgot me” memes, I’m surprised no one caught two that were forgotten that were more important than all of them: Rarity/Sweetie Belle’s parents!
 
The other parents were presented with each of the Mane 6. What happened to them!?

What even was the reasoning for putting each character where they are?
