In your link, I see a beautiful example of Pinkie. Earnest, full of energy, and reminding you of a child you might know who’s always at their 110%. Going about her way with a childlike mindset and, likewise, solving problems that the more level-headed can’t with unexpected juvenile wisdom. Predictably spontaneous yet an enigma to all, including her closest friends. It’s not wrong to describe her as on a constant sugar rush, as you may be trying to point out. But what’s important is the feeling that the energy conveys. In your video, it’s that ever-present childlike excitement as I’ve described. However as the show has gone on, the child in her (gradually) loses its authenticity and becomes more adult like. Recently, she’s reminded me more of a grown woman who is spontaneous, hyper, and ecstatic, rather than a child who embodies those traits inherently.

Still stupid because they’re basing it purely on the looks. Yet it’s already being compared to Teen Titans Go let’s wait till we have an actual first impression with a preview from an episode or an actual episode

The issue is that they haven’t given us enough to form a first impression yet. It’s just a few animated scenes of the characters being super-extra happy and excited for their new show. You cannot form a whole opinion on the entire show based off of that. If you do, that’s just blind and irrational hatred which makes you look stupid.
 
I’ll admit the ad was kinda cringy, especially the song choice, but that was more of an ad for the toys, not the show itself.
 
Point is, people need to let the ACTUAL SHOW air before they start jumping to conclusions. You guys remember “Read it and Weep”? Yeah, that. Also, many Bronies started off hating FiM with a passion till they actually watched an episode. So you all just need to chill and save your opinions until you’ve watched the show.
