As for in Hasbro, or this case, franchise terms: Transformers is a toy franchise also owned by Hasbro that came out in 1984 (a year after MLP), originally made in Japan (as two different toylines made by Takara, Diaclone, which gave characters like Optimus Prime and Starscream, and Micro Change, a spin off of Micro Man, or as it was called in the US, Micronauts, which were action figures who were the size of a Humans action figures, basically, Japans G.I Joe, and Micro Change, much like Diaclone featured robots who transform into cars, trucks (Diaclone), and mini cars and trucks, which was where Megatron, Bumblebee and Soundwave came from)
 
TL;DR: Transformers is another Hasbro toyline from 1984, which features voice actresses from MLP as well, plus voice actors from Transformers voiced in MLP a couple of times, like Gary Chalk (Prince Rutherford), Weird Al (Cheese Sandwhich),and of course Tara Strong herself

No one is saying “accept or die”. But there are a bunch of people who are just saying “wow, I don’t like this animation which means the whole thing is going to suck and if you like it you’re a Hasbro cocksucker.” You don’t get 1st place medals for hating something that’s new.  
There’s a line between hate and criticism and a lot of this fandom doesn’t know what it is.

I’m honestly concerned with the number of people who either don’t have functioning eyes, or are on Hasbro’s payroll.

It’s so accurate that it causes me physical pain.
