I don’t think everything new is bad.
 
I just think this new is bad. If they hadn’t degraded the art-style to some cheap-fuck style that barely has any worthwhile to talk about, I might be more accepting of this new idea.  
But since they took away the good animation from an VISUALLY BASED MEDIUM, I can rightly say I am displeased.

Artstyle can be a killer for some people. I’ve eventually grown to accept EqG for what it was (and not gonna lie, kinda sad about what it could have been) but other people still can’t get over the huge heads and legs among other things. A pretty controversial topic during the last episodes of this show was how it put a bigger emphasis on expressions to make them funnier (both for the audience and for the animators working on them) and this one just goes quite a few steps beyond those. So it’s (maybe?) understandable if people who already didn’t like that direction just feel put off by something like this.
 
Point being, I’m not really feeling these designs. Maybe the show will be good? I won’t argue that. But I certainly don’t have any interest in watching it.
