Don’t fight, y’all- I wrote a lil’ scene to explain the whole thing. This picture is apparently worth 1,633 words!
 
tl;dr: This is a BDSM roleplay scenario between three consenting adults. Sunset is very much into it, Adagio’s much more accustomed to being the spanker than the spank-ee but enjoying herself nonetheless, her heart-shaped iris is meant to get that across, and because I drew Sunset’s eyes half-lidded, I didn’t have enough room to give her eyes the same shape, so I went with a heart-shaped pupil.

At first glance, Adagio enjoying this at all is not remotely apparent, but the look on Sunset’s face is. The heart suggests otherwise, and given what the image shows and what we know of the character’s personality, it’s not hard to make a few connections. I didn’t say it firmly proved anything, but the details tell a story. Fine details can say a lot, and with Sunset’s eye partly closed, it’s just as easy to read the lines as being part of an ordinary pupil. That might actually be more likely, given the differences in shape between the two.

Fantastic stuff as always, Cybersquirrel! You even got that all-important little gap between Twilight’s blouse’s buttons!
