PAARPH…
PRAARP…
PAAARPAH

Loud, sporadic, off-key parps echoed out of the small cottage outside of Ponyville, only occasionally interspersed by the sound of a cello being played, and the very aggravated voice of the pony-turned-plaid dragon playing it. Frustration was quite clear in her grunts, a heavy huff escaping her muzzle as she rested back against the wall, looking down at her cello bow, and the familiar stringed instrument squished into her large, patterned belly. She knew that she could do this, in theory, but in practice… was a different story.

“Hmmh. I just don’t understand it, when I didn’t mean to do it it seemed to work wonderfully, but when I’m trying to make it work it just won’t fit together. Maybe it is true that the best place for a set of bagpipes in an orchestra is a hundred meters outside the concert hall…” Her gaze turned to look at the sets of three drone pipes extending out from her back, both laying somewhat flat as she shifted her weight further backwards, squishing into her belly and forcing another errant parp from their ends. A sigh left her lips as her hands squished against her gut, one still keeping a decent grip on her instrument. “Come on, don’t be so defeatist, you can do this. You didn’t learn the cello in a day, these things take time… though I feel like the whole bit about ‘making the instrument an extension of yourself’ wasn’t supposed to be taken quite so literally.”

Leaning herself back forwards, her hind claws clacked against the floor, taking the moment to readjust her cello as well. Looking down towards it, her shoulders slumped slightly, carrying the instrument back over to its stand and setting it down, giving her head a light shake. She’d been at this for hours now, a break might at least do her some good. Perhaps some more tea as well… a chuckle left her muzzle. Of course, certainly isn’t like she could become any more of a draconic bagpipe. Then again, suppose she could always wind up as a pooltoy one, depending… that’d certainly make things even more interesting.

As she was making way towards the kitchen however, a gentle knocking at the front door just about managed to catch her ears over the sound of her own waddling and parping. She blunk for a moment, thinking - certainly wasn’t expecting any visitors, and Vinyl was playing at a club today, so that couldn’t be her. Oh, hopefully it wasn’t a noise complaint from a neighbor, she wouldn’t even know where to begin with explaining that…

She shuffled herself towards the front room, squeezing through the archway, as the visitor at the door continued knocking. As she was shuffling towards the door to answer it, her head finally did catch up to some… possibly pertinent information. Namely, the fact that she was still a large, parpy dragon. A blush quickly crossed her face - she couldn’t let someone see her like this, surely! Being all ballooned up is one thing, but this? This was… well… unusual, to say the least! She had to change herself back, somehow - and fast!

As she turned to try and head to the kitchen, the visitor finally spoke up. “Uh… Octavia? It’s uh, Twintails, you know, the stallion who, um, kind of… th-the one you get that sugar from! Yeah, let’s, uh, go with that, eheh. I… just wanted to ask you about that music I was hearing earlier…” The blush already on her face deepened. He’d heard it, he had most certainly heard it. I mean, he’s one of the more eccentric stallions she’d met, but what would he think about seeing her like… this?! Oh, this was… not good.

“Uh, j-just a moment! Sorry!” She quickened her pace, claws clacking against the tile of Vinyl’s half as she rushed towards the archway, which strangely seemed to be much smaller than she had remembered it. The panic was clear in her breathing as she dove to try and squeeze through it, a very loud, very noticeable parp loosing from her body as she slid forwards… and became firmly stuck in. Her back legs flailed helplessly as she felt herself now swelling up, breathing quick and hasty as she struggled to pull herself through, to no avail. Feeling the doorframe squeezing on her plaid body fully, along with it starting to grow around her head slightly, she finally relented with a long sigh. Well, hopefully he’s at least somewhat understanding… “Uhm… you know what, please, do come in… and maybe help if you can.”

Though she couldn’t see it, she could hear the door swinging open and then shutting once more as the pegasus entered, his muzzle staying somewhat silent. Her thick tail swished back and forth before she cleared her throat, a weakened chuckle escaping her. “Ah, hello, um, yes, I’ve… gotten a little bit stuck. It’s… a long story. Somewhat embarrassing. Don’t suppose you’d be willing to give me a little shove perhaps?”

The pegasus was silent for a few moments longer, before the cellist felt one of his hooves resting on the puffy mass of her tail. “Yeah, I think I can piece some of it together, but, right, I’ll help you through here so you can explain it a bit more. Guessing you aren’t a bagpipe dragon too often, are you?” The cellist blunk at that a few times, eyes widening. He was familiar with… this kind of creature? Well… hm…

She didn’t have too long to think on that, however, before she felt two hooves and a pony’s face suddenly start pressing into her plaid posterior, squeezing a loud parp out while at the same time making her move ever so slightly in the doorway. The pegasus sunk in rather deeply as he performed his first large shove, the swollen material of her body engulfing her face a little more as her cheeks and ears wore a bright blush, a bit of air leaving her mouth as well. Well, if he’s familiar with the species, suppose he may be familiar with how to best get them unstuck from places, perhaps…

“Whoof, yeah, you are pretty well wedged in here. Panicking, were you? Hyperventilating does get you taking in a bit more air than you need, and when you’re 70 percent air to begin with, well… Don’t worry, I’ll get you out eventually, just gonna take a bit of pushing. I… hope you won’t mind, too much.” She felt the pegasus push off for a moment, before he shoved again, sinking a little further in against her thick tail and forcing a bit more air out, making her inch forwards in the doorframe.

A sigh escaped her as she felt the blush soften a little, before feeling him pulling back for a third shove - This was going to be a little while, wasn’t it?…
