New headcanon, Princess Celestia’s bedroom actually sits just up against the side of Canterlot mountain and the castle as we see literally expanded and was built out from her old house. Her closet is literally built out of an old cave that was found behind her old house. Only Princess Celestia knows just how deep her closet is. But it’s said that exploring all of the clothes and stuff she’s hoarded over the centuries is like exploring a literal time capsule, as she’s collected fashion trends that even history has forgotten.
