Okay… but in a world where the sun and moon are moved by sapient beings, how would 800 years of intense sunlight in one area not affect the rest of the world?
Then again, he should put the rings back together and lend them to the province of Whinnysota.
March Gustysnows: “Still cold here, don’tcha know.”
I was with you until you said “entitled” and knew you were just buzzwording at this point.
Thanks Jim.
Too bad literally anyone could write a better season at this point.
No but go on, please continue with all of your cringey neckbeard conspiracy theories about how the writers actively hate the show and have never seen a single episode and are out to ruin it on purpose by changing the oh-so-sacred canon of a D-tier recurring character, or how a bunch of entitled fanboys with literally no writing experience whatsoever are somehow “better” at it. JFC.
And yet when I point out how bad a Spike episode written by Josh Haber screws up the continuity, I’m branded as a heretic.
And yet, Daring escaping the “deathtraps” was to the point of being a cliche given their ineffectiveness.
Perhaps in hindsight, Ahiuzotl was trying to scare Daring off.
It is incredible that even in a successful show like MLP continuity problems also occur, reason why the new scriptwriters also pay attention to old episodes.
They clearly don’t want to do that of their own volition.
He’s doing to protect his job. What more do you want?
I like how you brought up actual lines from actual episodes and everyone is calling you out on headcanon.
Okay, but how does that explain why he’s doing any of that in the first place?
@ThomasFan45
That doesn’t make the writing less dumb. In fact it makes it more so because fans have to put in so much effort to explain what writers didn’t bother to.
This way you only show how you love writers and how you hate MLP:FiM.
Exactly.
A well thought-out theory or headcanon can justify even the dumbest writing decision.
Makes sense.
If y’all recheck the transcript for Daring Don’t: the magic rings, the dark tower, control of the Fortress of Talacon, etc. was all limited to Tenochtitlan.
“You’re dooming the valley to eight centuries of unrelenting heat!”
“You know what’s at stake here! Ahuizotl has sought control of the Tenochtitlan Basin since book three!”
Now we know his motivation for doing so.
Or maybe the ‘other guardian creatures’ he mentioned made him do it to prevent anymore artifacts from going missing.
This hurt my brain
