Still if I were to give advice foe the future. If someone wants to compare something to something, it’s not incorrect to do so. That’s just point out a common trope.

It’s perfectly fine for someone to compare Revelation to The Ending of the End whether you like it or not, if they see the trope as similar.

Same how it’s valid for someone to point out how the Legion of Doom is similar to Superfriends villians even if the Legion was never inspired by them but just so happened to resemble them.

Hey, if they believe in that (IOW they’re a part of the Jesus fandom), whatever, good for them (I guess), but works of fiction are works of fiction, and I’m not gonna try and disguise that fact to avoid stepping on toes or whatever.

At most, I’ll couch it by saying I believe it’s a work of fiction and that religion is just another type of fandom.

The series finale was seriously great, in many of the ways that the ending of the Bible is great, though I think ghis is mostly coincidence.  
Honestly, the one thing I would change is the title of the two parter. Instead of “The Ending of the End,” it should have been “The End of the Beginning.”

So they copied the Bible, but did it better. Oof, the Jesus fandom is probably not happy with this. Even has the unicorns and dragons too! Not to mention, a red skinned horned villain, and a master of deception. The Devil was multiple characters to begin with so it makes sense that was what they went back to here with Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy. The symbology of the garden of Eden and Applejack’s farm is also unmistakable!

Well, I mean, it barely qualifies as moralistic, but I feel it does based mostly on the New Testament (well, uh, setting aside the hallucinogenic fever dream that is the Book of Revelations).
 
The Old Testament has some really fucked up stuff, gotta say. A personal favorite of mine was always the one where a guy discovers one of his ladyfriends has been murdered, and so he cuts her body up into little meat cubes (or that’s what I always imagined) and sends them across the land to get justice or some shit like that.

Says who? I never once heard Lauren Faust or anyone else on the show staff state that they set out to break cliches with this show. You might as well be saying that The Powerpuff Girls was made to break cliches.

Yeah, that’s vwwn true since season two’s “Dragon Quest.” Ge even says at the end of the episode to Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash, “You’re nore than just friends. You’re my family.” And as “Sparkle’s Seven” showed us, this extends to Twilight’s family as well, as shining Armor refers to Spike as his little brother as he gives him a hug.

Yeah, I’m not sure what two dragons who stopped mattering before Spike was born, who never influenced his life beyond the existence of his egg can do for him.
 
Twilight Velvet and Night Light, followed by big sister Twilight Sparkle raised him far as I’m concerned, and as of the end of the series, he’s a high-ranking member of a country’s government, being Twilight’s Royal Advisor and Ambassador.
 
What could his biological parents possibly offer, with that in mind, when they were never there, assuming they’re even alive?
 
Some people in the real world do not care about who their biological parents are, and I’d imagine that became the case for Spike.
 
TL;DR: Spike’s biological parents are utterly irrelevant to the character he’s been throughout S1-S9, period (hell, they didn’t even name him, did they). Being adopted without knowing who your biological parents are or were doesn’t preclude you from a happy life, and I’d say Spike has been happy overall.

I don’t like this idea because MLP is universal in its message regardless of religion and the kind of thinking in this post makes it christian-only. Seriously, don’t drag religion into things like that
