Of course, I still love pony and want to do the best I can. Sadly best can sometimes be affected by issues like injuries. Usain Bolt could not run as fast with torn Achilles tendon either. And my passion for pony is still fully intact. In fact I have been glad to get to draw these issues, I get to draw broad range of characters from the show I love and even if it hurts to do it sometimes, It is definitely worth suffering to get that privilege!

Please take it in the nicest way possible when I say I’m glad to hear that it was your physical ailments and constraints that caused it and it wasn’t the result of your passion being monotonised by the pressure of having the work to constant tight schedules. I’m glad to hear, or at least extrapolate, that you’re not being sapped by the travail of constant output. There are few things worse that watching a talented person lose their spark for something when it becomes their occuption, that you’re still vested enough to want to put more in after the fact is great to see

I did have less than a month to make this issue, so I admit i could not be as meticulous as I’d like to with the backgrounds. I was also suffering from painful tendinitis during the making of this comic, but I still did 15 hour days to make sure I do not rush the art. In any case, this is perhaps the worst page in the whole comic, I had to draw it with a swollen wrist that felt like the tendon was about to rip in two. After some physical therapy and a few weeks of rest, heavy medication and new kind of work routine, my wrist is now feeling a lot better. Sadly it is too late to redraw the page.
 
Oh, and the itunes previews always get squashed oddly. The page is way flatter than original. So it looks worse.

Cerberus was a lot bigger the last time we saw him. Obviously he shrank in the wash.

Pencils has been notably getting worked quite hard by idw, but it’s a bit worrying to see he’s exerting himself that hard and they’ve still clearly given him a short enough timeframe that even with that he’s having to reduce his quality,

Where will they find a rolled-up newspaper big enough to get his attention?
