Well, Boulder is open to it, and they have ready proven their skill with MLP.
And yeah, I hope the OG voice actors return. Especially Rebecca Soichet lol.
AspectpfBlood21 yeah I hope it will continue and that someone will take over the animation but still have the original voice actors. As of now only time will tell but if we faith and some patient it might indeed happen just got to be patient first

Well, no one has been able to give one valid reason why it will end, and there is a literal mountain of evidence why it will continue. Frankly, I am very excited to see how Boulder does it. Rainbow Roadtrip was a ton of fun, and it is very encouraging to learn that it really was a special done entirely by Boulder, rather than a scrapped movie sequel DHX helped with.
Sigh I just hope the show doesn’t end or get rebooted.It doesn’t deserve to end like this and I bet hasbro would be disappointed with themselves if they did it so hopefully with some time and patience all that worry on it ending would of not been needed
Exactly. A new series would simply be to allow Boulder to implement their own animation programs and production techniques. It would not impact the story.

You didn’t troll what he clearly missing the face that Boulder could not jump on EG production from DHX cuz of two things: animation engine DHX used flash and Boulder uses ToonBoom plus they don’t have the DHX assets of the new outfits which means they have to used the old outfits 2nd they have to take a chunk of their staff. Rescue bots academy was easier for Boulder to animate cuz it’s used the same engine as the original rescue bots DHX did.
I am not trolling, I promise. I love MLP tremendously, and I care immensely for EQG.
Personally, I do not believe it will be rebooted. I doubt the validity of the G5 leaks, in fact.
I do believe Equestria Girls will get a new series that is a direct continuation of our current EQG series. The only reason I think it will be new is because it would be easier for Boulder from a production standpoint.
I do worry there could be a hiatus, but really, nobody knows.
All we know os that Boulder wasnt working on it back in June. By now they could have started. Or, they may have to wait until the movie is further along.
But, Boulder is clear. Barring any major issue, they want to begin work on it.

That’s not trolling Boulder said in a statement they’re not doing the current EG right now and it’s not their top priority they have bigger priorities with the new Hasbro shows they’re currently working on especially the movie and could be developing a new G5 EG series

Well, plus, if the leaks are true, we know very, very little about EQG. We basically get confirmation it exists at that stage of development and that Sunset is still a key character. That is the problem with leaks. Beyond their legitimacy, they only give us a small window into something much larger.

Like I said it could or couldn’t cuz it alternate like Applejack new look and personality etc cuz seeing how Hasbro wanted it to be girl centric and more restrictions on it wouldn’t cross if they change Sunset personality

EQG does not have the mane 6. It has the Mane 7. Given how popular Sunset is, it is seriously doubtful she would not be a focus of a reboot.

If it’s connected to G5 do bear in mind it’s a alternate version of Equestria things can change in a blink of an eye of a new character

Pretty sure she will be. Sunset is basically what makes EQG so popular, and Hasbro and DHX have both acknowledged that.
Plus, in a reboot, there is a strong hint towards that with the whole “portals to alternate worlds” thing being a huge plot point to the main series.
And the leaks actually mention her in the reboot, too.

I doubt it will be cancelled.
Boulder wants to work on it, so they have a willing team that has real talent.
And EQG, though it is not as well performing as MLP or other larger properties is still a vital part of Hasbro’s toy line up.
We will probably see it back, just don’t know like, what form.
We could see a reboot of Sunset and the girls.
We could see a season 3.
We could see a new series.
We could see the series idea get ditched in favor of specials.
