I always get annoyed with these kinds of endings as they suggest that a story ends just because the character reaches a certain point in life. After kids walk off, the lives of the main six are going to keep going on. I really wanted to watch Rarity have a midlife crisis, Pinkie pie have parenting issues, Fluttershy have marriage troubles and Applejack struggle with depression. If anything, the stories have more potential at the end than they have had in years.
