this is not canon. Discord and Fluttershy were just friends and she is already aged and not discord, he is immortal which cannot die. I only see friendship, not true romance. The Mane6 they don’t have husbands nor kids (except one)

We don’t know if kids was young enough to have a babysitter or was old enough to be in school. But everything was possible. Nobody expect Mane6 to bring all of their husbands and kids to a meeting every month for a chit chat between old friends. Discord was only expected because he was a friend with Mane6 but simply couldn’t come this time around.

Discord was going to a Ogres and Oubliettes convention, according to the subs, so if they already have kids they were probably staying with their grandparents or (ouch!) Zephyr Breeze.

You are confusing them to wanting to be ambiguous but they weren’t. If they wanted to be ambiguous they would simply have Fluttershy come from her Cottage and making Discord just assist her in teleporting. Shippers could still think that they are dating and Dislestia shippers or any other shippers could think they are just friends. But if they put extra effort to show that they all live in chaos dimension, then this was their way of making it clear without showing their offspring. And as a said, the kid wasn’t shown because animators and directors have no idea what their kid would look like nor they have a budget to make completely new character model for a draconequus baby.

Got it! You really really love and support this ship and you want it to be canon. You also believe they are now a couple. I don’t see it myself but I’m can see where some people do.
 
Other people though, while not denying the possibility but don’t believe it makes it canon because what happened can mean so many things and non of those things had came to confirm rather it’s canon or not.
 
As I said, I see this as the writers clever way to make both sides of who want them to be a couple and the ones that want to make them just friends happy and I applaud them for that. You don’t and you believe they are now a couple. It’s great that you believe that. Have a good day friend.

It does make sense. Not only it is ususally the Bride who move in to her husband property, it would be also logical to have Chaos kids in a place that won’t affect Ponyville.

Those are really poor excuses. You have Angel Bunny claiming she want to marry him and then she just moves in as platonic? And i don’t buy “visiting him” either as it doesn’t make sense she would drag all animals from the sanctuary to have her visit him for a tea.
 
I mean people can still pretend its not real, but why bother? The comics or manga or any show staff official will probably confirm them anyway. Literally only thing they didn’t do is confirming what their child would look like because the fandom was always divided on whether its a pony, draconequus or Screwball herself.

Realistically speaking, Discord just had to show up somewhere in the epilogue, and it only makes more sense that he’d appear alongside Fluttershy, to demonstrate how they remained close and whatnot. I mean, what else would they do with him if not show him with Fluttershy?
 
People are just assuming too much that they are living together when it doesn’t even make sense that she would move in to his place and not the other way around.

That could be equally true… My doubts come from the fact that in a next scene (dunno if there are images of it yet) you could see Fluttershy’s animals popping out from the dimensional doors like they are used to.

Don’t get me wrong, this means we can no longer deny that it’s possible but nothing makes set in stone yet. I just think it’s the writers that were able to put the status of their relationship in a good middle for both fans that do and don’t support this ship.

It doesn’t make much sense…

If people don’t think that “living together” is a confirmation then they shoudn’t assume CheesePie is canon because Pinkie never mentioned that she got married or that she didn’t adopt the child. Just because they didn’t show Discoshy kids doesn’t mean they aren’t together.

I think Jim is smart enough to know that the loudest trolls don’t represent the whole fandom, especially with all the support he got opposing that.

It’s like it’s written to be “either or”.
