Meanwhile, _*three times now_* BPs have removed the **op is a duck** tags that were added by a mod, so I don't seem to be the one all a-tizzy here with my wild and crazy policy platform of "just use the word 'continuity' instead". Once again, the only reason anyone is even arguing about this is because the people who incorrectly use "canon" are super mad that others refuse to hate IDW as much as they do, and want some way to claim that IDW is %~~objectively%~~ inferior. None of this would even be an issue if the haters could be satisfied with simply saying "IDW sucks so I'm going to ignore it since it has no effect on the cartoon's continuity", but some people are just completely incapable of accepting that others are allowed to like something they hate.
