February is around the corner so here’s my drawing for Valentine’s Day. The concept behind this drawing is somewhat inspired by a dance I went to in high school called “Sweetheart’s” which btw was the most awkward moment of my life. My friend kind of forced me into asking this guy that I barely knew to go with to it and we really had nothing in common at all and dancing with him was really awkward. He was a nice guy and all. But it was just weird because I already had a boyfriend so I felt guilty. Sure, it was just a friend thing but it still didn’t feel right. My boyfriend even knew about it and understood but still… My friend wanted me to go to the dance so she set me up to ask this guy out… anyway, this drawing is loosely based on that dance. Well, mostly the name of the dance. Because “Sweetheart’s Dance” just sounds so cute. Let’s say that Canterlot High did something similar to it. I tried my hand at drawing Sunset Shimmer with her hair up, it’s a total guess but I hope I did it justice.
