You know, iirc irl jellyfish are afraid of UV light and by extension blue light, as that is very close to its wavelength. Basically it’s because they have no real skin and are extremely susceptible to cell damage from UV light as a result.
 
In other words, just shining a blue light in this girl’s direction technically counts as a threat, and would probably make her have a huge panic attack at the very least. Not to mention she can only come up near the surface during the night.

This one’s electric. Like with pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies, there’s three types of jellyfish pony: electric, poisonous, and able to turn invisible. They can all turn it on and off though; they’re every bit as much pony as they are jellyfish :D

Strangely a lot of the worlds more venomous creatures tend to be small or fragile. Blue Ringed octopus is tiny Box jellyfish is well fragile and Stone fish hide as rocks.

She looks rather fragile.
