Description

Seriously… do personal opinions matter anymore? Josh Haber cleverly did this story to try to appease as much of the audience as possible by having US decide what the episode is implying! Everyone is correct in their own way! :D

Can’t we be happy that Spike is FINALLY getting his due? He’s almost there! :D

I’m less concerned about the shipping and more about the likely unintentional relationship red flags that just kinda get glossed over by everyone in the episode

Tbh I gave up on Sparity a long time ago and I wan gonna Ship Spike with Garble so I could Ship Gabby with Terramar, and Smolder with Ocellus, But now it really sounds like Gabby and Spike might be more plausible than Gabby and Terramar

Ah, but it says a lot about the individual’s personal. They like grooming in the tooniverse, so they probably would like grooming irl.

Just because we like killing mofos in video games doesn’t mean we like it in real life. Such is certainly the case me. The same could and should be applied with the cartoons. Angry moms trying to blame their child’s bad behavior on video games and mass media have tried that tact for years, but I don’t think they’ve met with much success.

Shipping a child with an adult, yeah that’s not creepy at all.

Shipping a child with an adult in a cartoon universe should not be creepy, because it’s fictional. It’s fantasy. Celestia herself said it; There’s no wrong way to fantasize. Sure, an adult with a child in real life would be plenty creepy. But, we’re not talking about real life, but rather a fictional cartoon universe about magical talking ponies. A place where, not only do the rules and regulations and logic of Earth need not apply, it makes very little sense to even try such in the first place.

There’s nothing wrong with grown men enjoying a show aimed at little girls, there’s nothing wrong with shipping fictional adults with fictional youth and there’s no wrong way to fantasize. Everyone should just have fun and not worry about it.

Unless they are obviously young, I.E. The CMC, or obviously older, I.E. Gruff, then it is assumed they are of age. Gabby is probably younger than Gilda, but older than, say, RD or DH.

I ship Spabby, they already have a much healthier relationship, plus Pinkie Pie was not shipping Sparity, just happy to see how to use the Gem basket. Spike and Gabby have far more in common, and it’s not creepy.

It’s not personal tastes what irks me (they are fictional characters, after all), but people who can’t see the different shades of relationships even when explained.
