A little of her Backstory:  
Celestial Moon born the 15 of April at 5 AM. She arrived one month earlier , Twilight and her family were visiting Celestia on the royal castle , Cadence also was there with her 3 kids.When Twilight began to have contractions, Rainbow went into panic and didn’t know what to do, but at least Cadence was there and she helped her to give birth.  
Twilight Gave birth to her third Child, A very little pinked-skin unicorn , she had Purple mane with the rainbow colors on it too , also she had the most beautiful eyes that Twilight had seen before , big pink eyes like her father’s.  
Twilight was REALLY stressed and when she got pregnant it didn’t help. She had a really hard pregnancy and she start devolving a big deep depression. This made her reject Moon and feel that she would not be able to take care of her own child , Rainbow tought she was just very stressed and was something momentary , so he decided to raise Moon literally alone.  
There was only one problem , the baby had no name , Twilight and Rainbow really suck at names so they always asked for help in the past , But at least Twilight had an idea , she wanted to call her youngest daughter ‘Celestial’ in honor of the Queen Celestia. Rainbow didn’t liked that name at all so he asked to his kids to find a name for their little sister. Sparkle was holding her little sister while she was talking with Flawless Harmony , Celestia’s daughter. She was telling her how excited she was of having a sister , but then Queen Celestia appeared and Flawless told her mother about the problem and that they didn’t wanted to call the child just ‘Celestial’. Queen Celestia suggeded ‘Moon’ and Sparkle tought it was a cute name for her sister , she told that to her parents and both agreed that the name of the baby was going to be Moon Roseanne (Roseanne was in honor of Twilight’s grandmother , In a headcannon of Mine of course xd))  
One day later , Twilight asked Celestia why she picked her name instead of “sunset” , “star” or “sun” , Celestia said that she just saw a lot of potential on the new born princess , and told twilight just to wait and she would see why she said that.  
Twilight was very scared of those words and also with her depression she was not able to be near to Moon when she was a baby , so Rainbow raised her literally alone.When Moon was around 6 , she started to notice that her mother was never with her , and she as a kid didn’t understood why , so she just and started to act very cold with her. Moon never understood why her mother ‘hated’ her , not having her mother’s love or affection always made her feel… ‘empty’ , whit this feeling , Moon transformed into a very lonely and antisocial kid , she had no friends and not even spoke to her family appart from her siblings or her dad.  
When Moon became an alicorn at 8 years it wasn’t better. she tought that she was just going to have wings now but she ignored the big responsability of being an alicorn was , she was just a little kid and doing those task stressed her A LOT , even if Luna and Eclipsa tried to help her. Moon slowly start devolving a little depression that became bigger in the future , she had the support of her family but she felt alone , she really have a low self-steem and she hate when someone says that she’s pretty because she thinks that they are just lying.  
Moon is very jealous of flurry Heart since she is more close to Twilight than her , better at magic and she’s considered the prettiest princess , she HATES her and she would do everything to make her dissappear.
