I don’t get it

Second one doesn’t make much sense. Under Faust, Twilight was shoehorned into every episode. This stopped when she left. Now it’s Applejack that gets added everywhere.

it’s a fun show regardless of who is the director.

I remember a Brony (now ex-Brony) By the name of Dethonator making that statement. He used to do metal riff covers of the songs way back during season 1. I dont think he has his stuff up anymore after he announced his disgust for the way the fandom was headed after season 3.

The most critical flaw of the show summarized in one meme - no unified sense of direction, although, if that had been the case, the show would’ve concluded long ago.
