Yes the 2016 looks better, but the hips look way too big to be normal. And of course his recent work is high quality shit, but probably the only things I see different is the colors and boobs and that’s pretty much it.

I’m not saying the 2016 version is good, but you can’t tell me that his most recent artwork is better. I’m not an expert on human anatomy, but those breasts look horrendous (Chrysalis’ I mean. But Sunset’s are certainly on a league of their own).

Go look at his most recent pics, the one with all the girls specifically. He’s drawing them like this weird type of creature that treats fat like it’s water. Obese bellies stitched off-center to their bodies, tits that look like balloons overfilled that should rip away from the flesh (they’ve go this small-ass zone where they’re attached to the body and then the become huge, that’s not how tits work and he wasn’t doing it before), and in general ni fucking bone structure to speak of. It had gotten worse, trust me. I never liked his stuff, always thought he drew faces and torsos wrong, but he’s gotten worse at it.

But to clarify. Sundown has always done his thing. Before people wouldn’t see it as a problem, because of a mixture of “he’s still improving” and enjoying the fetish. But now that time has passed, rather than fixing the problems with his art he’s doubling down on them as his selling point. His “improvement” turned out to be just doing more of the fetish, rather than actually bettering his art. Before it was acceptable, but with the passage of time, rather than drawing the thing he was always drawing but better he retained almost the same quality (after admittedly an improvement in the first years) and just started to do more of the thing. It’s not what people wanted. People liked his art because they liked a specific type of body drawn a specific way, and that allowed them to look past the flaws. But now the flaws are still there, the fetish has been exaggerated to the point where it’s no longer enjoyable by those who liked it before, and the two things worsen each other.
