Oh yeah, I can agree with you there.
Unfortunate that she did that,
but also believable, because Twilight tends to make extreme presumptions about the elder princesses.
She really thought they did every ‘royal duty’ themselves.

He had every right to be upset too considering this was their job and they were trying to help but Twilight pushed them away.
Otherwise, even one of the most influential and powerful nobles
wouldn’t dare speak this way to an Equestrian Princess.
But it isn’t, and Princess Twilight is on Fancy Pant’s home turf,
and messing up one of the capital’s traditional ceremonies,
so he’s not holding back.
