@AspectofBlood21
Every fan fiction I’ve read that makes an explicit reference to the Equestrian planet (usually in the context of contact with humans in a science fiction setting, but also in space travel stories without humans) calls the planet “Equus”.
@Dogman15
Eh, I wanted to try and make it a little more unique. Using a Latin name just felt off for a world that never had a greek or Roman culture, outside the pegasus tribe. And they didnt really seem like scientists or scholars haha.
why does it always have to be pony death? I mean hooficures are a thing so I think they could just use hoof dust/ hoof clippings from ponies getting their hooves done… also equestria seems to have a tech level not too far behind ours so i’m sure they could come up with cyanoacrylate (superglue)
Yeah, that was another reason. I wanted it to be a unique name from other stories.

Not sure where the heck you got “Equiis” from, since Equus is the scientific and Latin name for the genus of mammals horses are found in.

I have it as Equiis for 13 books in my fanfic, now I have to change it all…

Reminder that one is advised to actually think with their head (and not with an ass) before making a joke.
Remember the episode of WWDTM where that originated? I wonder if the writers for that Not My Job ever regretted it.
Saving the world from being conquered by mutant horses. Will he face off the Deceptions afterwards?
Looks like Krastos the Gluemaker won after all!
