Beatz had tears streaming down her face as she tried to get away from Cocoa’s cold magic aura. She was laughing a little too hard that it made Cocoa’s stifle a laugh. They’ve been at this ever since Beatz came over with overgrown fur and hair everywhere. Knowing Cocoa wanted to be a hairstylist when she was little, she decided to let her have some fun before she went to an actual hair stylist. She brought some of the accessories that her pack would use because of Cocoa’s fascination with Nocturnal Howlers.
 
“For the love of Celestia~~”
 
Powerful magic aura lifted Beatz from her laying down position and made her sit down on her butt, causing Beatz to start trying to hold back her laughter as Cocoa snipped off more of Beatz’s overgrown ear fur. The fur fell down onto the ground, joining the other snipped fur and hair locks. She looked at the accessories with a perplexed look before putting them onto Beatz’s hair in her way.
 
“Uhm, Coco?”
 
“Yeah?”
 
“You’re putting the gem ball wrong.”
 
“I barely even know what this thing does! How does your pack even have time to add all of these!?”
 
Beatz giggled, “Well, we do have the whole night. Just clip it on like you would do to a bow.”
 
Soon enough, Beatz was back to being a giggling mess as Cocoa was trying to imitate her braid on Beatz’s mane. It was a little too big and Cocoa’s was incredibly impressed by how thick and healthy her mane was.
 
“It’s like no matter how much I cut your mane, they somehow grow back again!”
 
“Well, we are born from stardust. It helps grow our hair and fur back as fast as possible, especially if winter is approaching.”
 
“And we’re done!”
 
Cocoa looked at her handiwork with a proud smile on her face before bringing a mirror after carefully setting a flower crown she made from her garden. Beatz looked through the mirror before stifling another laugh at how messy it was with different braids and strands sticking out. Cocoa looked offended at Beatz’s attempts to stay quiet.
 
“It looks pretty!”
 
“It looks like a child went off on my hair, oh my Gods!”
 
“Hey!”
 
Beatz broke down laughing, tears brimming in the corner of her eyes. Cocoa tried to keep her composure before joining in the laughter. The heart strand jumped slightly as it thickened a bit, showing how Beatz was in actual content. Cocoa noticed and her eyes widened, seeing slight golden shimmers escaping the root of the heart strand.
 
“Your heart strand just got bigger!”
 
“O-oh?”
 
“I was sure I cut it a little!”
 
Beatz wiped away her tears before looking in the mirror again, giggling a bit, “Well, like I said, we are born from stardust. It’s just doing it’s job as winter is approaching.”
 
“… IT’S FREAKING SPRING.”

Ahh and it’s finally done!! <33 I wanted to finish it before the raffle’s deadline because I’ll be busy with the prizes afterwards. ANYWAY, I LoVE How this one turned out fomdsklfskl. Like, it isn’t what I expected but I love it nonetheless ;w; The reason behind this is because Nova has been there for me and I didn’t know how to thank her enough for her gigantic support. I honestly don’t know how you put up with my constant ranting and venting but thank you so much!! <33 Without you, I would’ve been in a much darker place that I’ll probably won’t find an escape to it. AlSo, mini update on His Honey Essence, there’s only like 3 or 4 chapters left. And The Book of the Sun needs just screenshots and a little editing. I’ll be posting the social au first before submitting His Honey Essence daily. I’ve used a lot of inspirations for HHE and especially from a tumblr user called Enderkim (she’s deactivated and I can’t find her anymore). So, my work is heavily inspired by her au but it is somewhat different. I just wanted to point this out now so people won’t think I’m stealing or straight out copying her style; which I’m not doing and never ever will. So yeh, hope you all like these aus!
