@UserAccount
I want it to be as canon like you do but the words “the viewer could interpret as either relationship” isn’t an “in-canon” confirmation. If anything, it’s ambiguous.
@Angrybrony
Some people ship gay and lesbian ships outside of fetish reasons. Just like with straight ships.
Since it’s now buried underneath like 700 thousand pages of bullshit I also wanted to repeat the sentiment of my first comment:
I deeply appreciate the balls displayed here by even daring to go this far. Others go further - we recently had Arthur show a gay marriage episode, and of course some states are crying about it, but I like this idea of progress even if it doesn’t go all the way - and it DOESN’T go all the way, again IT’S AN IN-JOKE.
I still don’t expect the likes of Hasbro to really risk getting behind something like that - I’d support them if they do but not daring to go there shouldn’t really be considered a serious sign of weakness worthy of protest or anything. I’d be HAPPY if they dared, don’t get me wrong I’d appreciate the THROBBING, RED, moist, PULSATING, delicious…, sweaty…. musky…
{[(<BALLS>)]}
Hasbro would have if they actually canonized it..but I’m not going to waste time trying to bend the laws of time and space to validate a lesbian ship I like in the context of the canon of the show where it’s not officially there, because even if it were possible, that is such a LOW issue to debate that it couldn’t possibly be worth my time. Just like a ship, or don’t, and let people do a thing and do your thing.
“riding the line so people can reach their own conclusions” =/= a solid answer. No confirmation or denial.
Point 1 to take away from this = It is not canon.
Point 2 to take away from this = It not being canon shouldn’t matter to shippers because it’s an in-joke and we can all just enjoy our secret joke even though it’s not officially endorsed by Hasbro.
Point 3 to take away from this = It not being canon does not take away the value from the ship.
Point 4 to take away from this = It not being canon gives some credibility to people making fun of the shippers, but it’s so minor of an issue that it should mean nothing because fighting over ships is literally one of the worst most stupid things you could ever do on the internet, and people should just let others do what they like instead of fighting over “what is correct”.
Point 5 to take away from this = stop.
I say this all as someone who supports this ship. It’s not my favorite - actually one of my least favorites, but I have nothing really against it. This is just the objective truth. We were literally just told this.
HELL YEAH <3
They just know what’s good %%
But it still isn’t canon though. We know they ship it, but they are not a couple in the show
As she said, they deliberately made it ambiguous so anyone can decide for themselves
