2 is out, 3 comes out this week.
Kono Gallus Da!
It’s pretty good so far, but it’s hard to tell when it takes place in the timeline
I think Ian Flynn also wrote for IDW TMNT, Archie’s Saleem mini-series, and some other things, so he’s actually got an impressive resumé then just Sonic & Megaman.
Gala the Griffon
August, see desc.
Yeah his eyes do look feminine.

Did Gallus get R63’d?

Yeah, I guess we can expect little references from hidden corners, like for example, the group going to the library and in one of those book covers we see a barely visible Sonic sillouette.
Honestly, if Ian nails the Students 6 well, I’d for him to take a shot a every character in this franchise, specially the comic exclusive ones, because Celestia knows how much some of them need it…
@Beau Skunky
I trust Ian will do his research on the characters, the most recent lore of the show/comics and gives us a good story. Yes, I’m aware that can also backfire horribly, given some certainly past works of him, but I’m still fairly optimistic about this Miniseries.
I doubt it, but Ian has been known to sneak some memes/fandom in-jokes in his comics, (like Air Man stating, “You can’t beat me!” or Eggman muttering his own themesong to himself) but not sure how savvy he is on MLP as he isn’t really a brony.
I remember back when MLP:FiM first aired, on Ian’s forums the Bumbleking forums, (which I used to go to at the time) Ian praised the 2-part pilot of the series, and stated it was a well done series, so he has respect for MLP:FiM, and it’s fans, at least.
I’ll laugh if they sneak a MegaMan/Rock pony in the background or something. (I think they already had a Sonic pony, correct me, if I’m wrong.)
@Jarkes
Yeah, agreed. He’s very good with the Sonic & Megaman characters. (Despite what some Penders-fanatics say.)

I like the Student Six, but I do agree that I would’ve also liked to see Ian’s take on the Mane Six or other characters (though I’m sure they’ll still appear).
I am expecting huge references
Crossover when? j/k
Also this. I’m not super crazy about the Young 6 becoming the spotlight of the show from now on, but I’d rather have an actual Miniseries exploring their characters a bit more than a random spin-off that would most likely go nowhere…
