cool. what you just said is what i’ve pointed out before. its ok to steal something, use it for your own personal gain, and screw over the original owners because you are entitled and apathetic to the suffering of others. good job.

So you’re making that tag apply by intentionally stirring things up? Mane6 have washed their hands of this project. Fan content made about it is only done in honor of it. There’s the situation and nothing can change that. Yes some of the Mane6 staff were freaking out over the leak, it was a bad time for them, meanwhile we’re here as fans thinking “Why didn’t they leak the latest version? Why’d they leave us with an out of date version?”
 
They had nothing to lose. They still have nothing to lose. No-one should be made to feel bad for the leak or for doing fanart on the game. The leak was a good thing. I don’t expect TFH would have the fanbase it has now if it wasn’t for people actually getting the chance to play what was essentially a demo. Things went WELL. And that is no lie. Stop trying to drag people down for old drama. The fact remains that Mane6 could have released the more up to date version on the day they got the C&D and nothing would be different now, except that we wouldn’t need a tribute version. That’s the irony.
 
I know we’ve spoken before about this and I know where you’re coming from. But I do not believe for a single second that the person/people you are doing this for want you spreading misery and guilt to others. It’s time to let it go. You can’t tell an entire fandom to stop because one person (Who should have the fighting is magic tag on their blacklist) might see this and get flashbacks to that awful time in their life. It was afterall an event where nothing happened, where nothing could have happened. So you know, don’t link this to them and there will be no problems. But it’s not our job to protect that person. We are a fandom. We’re gonna do fanart. We’re proud of what Mane6 made. It is a shame that’s not what they see when they find animations like this.
 
It was missing the fighting is magic tag though and that is something you can complain about.

presumptuous but not wrong, this concept, fighting is magic as well as the quality of the animation is pretty much guaranteed to get someone saying something that gets a discussion started, and since this being posted gave comments on another fighting is magic post i watch id like to clarify a few things here as well.
 
 
i have nothing against content creators wanting to do something with love towards each other. Mane6 the original creators of fighting is magic are amazing people and deserve love and care, especially after the CnD, but i also cannot forgive the ones that stole the files in the first place, or the fandom for ignoring everything the Mane6 said after the leak and justifying the stolen files and every release afterwards pretending the Mane6 want this stuff.
 
 
psfmer is an amazing animator and i have nothing against them, but if they had asked the Mane6 if they wanted him to make this they would have said no, likely they were just unaware of the pain this stuff causes them.
 
 
every time i have attempted to inform the people that keep updating the “tribute” i have been told by them that the Mane6 either benefit from this stuff being made, or that the Mane6 dont care, but when i actually talked to the Mane6 they very specifically said they do not want this stuff being made because it hurts them.
 
 
i have nothing against this animation, it is very impressive, but i do need to point out the absolutely abhorrent justification the “tribute” makers have been using to lie and mischaracterize the Mane6. it is very important that people understand that this stuff was stolen from the Mane6, used against their wishes, and have said they do not want this stuff made, and the “tribute” people do not care at all about any of that, continuously lying about how everything they do “benefits the Mane6”
