For as low effort as this tool is, it does one surprising thing: it gives the DA link to the base vector used for each “creation”. Not that this guy is taking the time to check the vectors for artist credit >_>

Yeah, this reminds me of the Ponymaker from way back, but even less effort required.
What do you mean artist? Someone made a program online which it seems that several kids found and are now just clicking a couple of buttons to make these things. The names are also generated along with them as well so there is no thought process or effort involved in these things.

But anyway… it’s pretty bad atm with it and like I said, there’s a high potential of over 2300 of these recolors being posted at this rate.

Ya. The entire recent posts list is a dumpster fire right now. There has to be at least 1 mod awake to do something I would imagine.
Until something is done though I would say just utilize the report function as best as you can.
Although I did look at the ‘fusion’ site where all of these are coming from…. bad news is that it’s easy for these to be churned out fast… worse news is that there’s a possible 2352 or so combinations possible.
I think it’s just timing. Flip through these “ocs” until you find one with a poster name and check the history. They did this before with emotes, in a way. I think this is just some oblivious kid that found a “fun recolor tool” online and ran with it.
Derpibooru is definitely being trolled right now. Floods of recolor “fusions”, tiny pointless gifs, random EQG foot fetish posts… I smell 4chan or summat.
I did a report for the starter of this spam already when they refused to stop after I asked them to… they seemed rather childish about it and look to be entirely doing this to troll/spam.
Now it looks like it’s either the same person posting anonymously or several other people are joining in on this spamming via background pony users.
