I think he’s written himself into a corner. The revelation that Jet Stream ||pressured Delta Vee into sex||, lied about contraception, and ruined her career so he could possessively provide for her jumped the shark. There is no realistic way to thaw her pure hatred of him and make them a family again, which is Apogee’s entire character arc in the story. Now it just feels like sad drama for the sake of sad drama and that just isn’t my thing, not anymore anyway. It’s drawn out longer than it needs to be.
