The blonde pony with the top-hat cutie mark who’s chatting up pony Betty Boop here is none other than a ponified Marlene Dietrich, a famous actress from the same era as the Betty Boop cartoons. She was famous (or notorious) for dressing up in men’s clothing, and in one of her films, Morocco (1930), actually had an onscreen kiss with another woman.
