Actually, “We care why” isn’t backwards. :V It should probably say “we care, why” with a comma if you’re gonna be a grammar nut about it, but it and “why we care” are both correct and mean the same thing, it’s just that the former has a more sarcastic disposition to it, while the latter is more of a proper question.
That being said, my money’s on Spike.
