Spitfire and Rainbow Dash originally tolerated Lightning Dust (beginning of Wonderbolts Academy). LD was a crazy daredevil pony but she still accomplished a lot. There is a place for her in the show. She can be a good leader if given a chance. She has a lot of potential. But she must be labeled a villain/enemy to make RD look like a star
I believe the writers intentionally sabotaged the relationship between those 3 ponies for no reason at all
