Yeah, he actually is a nicer guy then just seeing the commercials for his shows would have you believe. Watching the full episodes actually show he’s a good guy, and he does nice things IRL. He just has an extremely low tolerance for B.S.
 
I remember one restaurant on “Kitchen Nightmares” didn’t want his help, or criticism at all, and just wanted to use his show for publicity. Gordon didn’t take that very well.

You hush up, Gordon Ramsey is a shining example of a good person. He only yells and swears, at best, when people who should know what they’re doing don’t, or at worst, when negligent restaurant owners are ripping off and/or poisoning their customers.  
He grew up dirt poor with an alcoholic father who abused him and his mother, he’s known to be kind and patient with beginner chefs (especially children), and he will give someone a hand up if they need it.
