Description

Inspired by Let’s Switch Bodies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWniqUJjhSg

Speed: By running, Rarity Dash can zip across Battlefield in half a second.

Weight: Same as Kirby.

Icon: Rainbow Dash’s cutie mark.

Wings: Rarity Dash can jump five times before landing.

Intro: Floats downward while flapping her wings, then says “Shall we get started, then?”

Hide: When crouching without attacking, Rarity hides behind a folding screen. It can protect her from one hit regardless of strength, then falls over to expose her to further attacks.

Standard A: Punch combo. After the first three punches, Rarity stands upright for a rapid punch. Each punch before the last does 1-3% damage, then the last one after the rapid punch does 6% damage.

Forward Tilt: Buck. 15-22% damage.

Up Tilt: Upperbuck. 16-21% damage.

Down Tilt: Forehoof poke. 4-6% damage. Press A again to follow up with a low kick (7-10% damage).

Dash Attack: Thrusts a sewing needle forward. 17-24% damage.

Forward Smash: Force Lightning. 5 hits for 3-6% damage per hit depending on charge. Slightly longer range than Pikachu’s Forward Smash.

Up Smash: Stands upright and raises ball lightning above her head. 5 hits for 3-6% damage each depending on charge.

Down Smash: Tail Sweep. 16-28% damage depending on charge. Trips enemies.

Neutral Air: Rarity curls into a ball and spins, using Dashie’s wings to cut enemies repeatedly. 6 hits which each do 2-4% damage each.

Down Air: Rariball Slam. Goes straight downward, does 20% damage, has a meteor effect, and bounces up when it hits a foe. If Rarity lands during this attack, she will push enemies on the ground near her sideways.

Forward Air: Forward mirror slash. 14-22% damage. Deflects projectiles.

Up Air: Upward mirror slash. 15-20% damage. Deflects projectiles.

Back Air: Three kicks behind Rarity. Each one does 5-8% damage.

Grab: Rarity uses a cloth whip to grab both ledges and enemies. Does 3-9% damage when used in the air.

Pummel: Punches opponent. Fast pummel for 1-3% damage each hit.

Forward Throw: Shoots opponent away with a lightning spark. 10-16% damage.

Back Throw: Stands upright, spins opponent horizontally using both hooves (this can also hit others), and throws opponent. Does 14-18% damage.

Up Throw: Powerbomb. 17-25% damage. Also causes an explosion that damages enemies (9-17% damage) near where Rarity lands.

Down Throw: Pins enemy down and slaps his face four times. Each hit does 4-6% damage.

Edge attack (slow): Lightning spark. 18-24% damage.

Edge attack (fast): Rariball roll. 16-20% damage.

Floor attack (trip/face up): Punches to both sides (each punch does 10-15% damage) before getting to her hooves.

Floor attack (face down): Kicks backward (15% damage) and punches forward (14-16% damage).

B: Crystal Breath. Does 2-4% damage per hit. Unlike Bowser’s and Charizard’s fire breath, Rarity’s icy crystal breath doesn’t gradually lose range. Always freezes targets above 75% damage.

B Custom 1: Rolling Cutter. Cut Man’s weapon from Mega Man 1. Rarity throws a pair of scissors that goes in a circular path, returns to her, hits enemies once for 10-20% damage, staggers them for a full second, and then launches them. Can also be aimed up (and also down when used in the air).

B Custom 2: Thunder Beam. Elec Man’s weapon from Mega Man 1. Rarity shoots one lightning ball forward, one upward, and one downward. The lightning balls do 3-5% damage upon contact, explode upon hitting any enemy or surface for an additional 3-5% damage, and can easily break shields at point-blank range. However, it has low launch power.

Forward B: Gem Bomb. Functionally similar to Mega Man’s Crash Bomber. Rarity throws a gem forward that does 4-7% damage, latches on to enemies and surfaces, explodes for 10-16% damage (only one hit) and decent launching power, breaks shields in three hits. Just like with the actual Crash Bomber, fighters with gem bombs on them can touch other fighters to transfer the gem bombs to them.

Forward B Custom 1: Spin Dash. Rarity balls up, spins in place while you hold B (this will increase her speed), then begins to roll super fast when you release B. Depending on charge, this does 8-20% damage per hit. Launches enemies upward. As a ball, Rarity can still jump and turn. Just press B again or Down to unfurl back into pony form.

Forward B Custom 2: Scissor Blade. Sundowner’s Pincer Blades from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Rarity pulls out giant scissors, slowly swings them (press B two more times for two follow-ups), and moves forward a bit. Has super armor. Effective shield breaker. Each hit does 17-22% damage. Hold B before any of the three strikes to charge up the slash, then release for a stronger slash that moves forward further, does 25-30% damage, and one-shots shields. When used in the air, Rarity briefly hovers in the air before the attack.

Up B: Sonic Rainboom. Rainbow Dash’s signature move, which her body lets Rarity use. Dash forward really far in any direction (aim with the Control Stick). Does 25-30% damage, but can easily land you out of bounds if aimed the wrong way.

Up B Custom 1: E-Blade. Zero’s technique obtained from Squid Adler in Mega Man X5. During this Shoryuken (hits 7 times for 2-5% damage each), Rarity will drop seven small lightning bolts below her (each does 2-5% damage).

Up B Custom 2: Cloud Platform. Rarity creates a cloud at her current position and jumps off (she can then attack normally). The cloud acts as a trampoline and can be jumped on three times before disappearing. Each time someone jumps on the cloud (and also when Rarity first jumps off), it will randomly drop a lightning bolt (15-20% damage), rain (6 raindrops which each do 2-4% damage), or snow (5 snowflakes that slowly fall in a horizontal sine wave, do 1-3% damage each, and always freeze their targets). When used on the ground, the cloud floats up a bit before Rarity jumps off.

Down B: Gem Trap. Rarity buries a gem where she’s standing. When an enemy goes above the gem’s location, the gem will shoot upward, do 5-10% damage, and launch enemies straight up. If used in the air, she will throw the gem diagonally downward first (it does 5-10% damage and launches enemies diagonally downward), then the gem will bury itself where it lands.

Down B Custom 1: Jewel Satellite. Jewel Man’s weapon in Mega Man 9. Four jewels orbit Rarity, deflecting any projectiles they touch. Can only be active for three seconds. Press B again to throw the shield (it can also be aimed straight up or down). Upon contact (either when orbiting Rarity or when thrown), the shield does 15-20% damage and launches enemies straight up.

Down B Custom 2: Thunder. Exactly the same as Pikachu’s. A thunderbolt falls from the sky above your location, meteor smashes enemies, does 15-20% damage, and creates an electrical burst around you the moment it hits you (does another 15-20% damage).

Final Smash: Sonic Rainnuke. Rarity jumps off the screen. Use Left and Right to aim her. After five seconds, she will automatically fall straight down, or you can press A or B to drop her early. Then she will meteor smash enemies for 30% damage and create a massive explosion upon landing which does 30% more damage and has high launch power.

Up taunt: Puts on her purple outfit from 4:02 in the animation.

Down taunt: Flips her mane and smiles.

Side taunt: Holds ball lightning in her forehoof. Can damage enemies (5 hits for 1-2% damage each).

Victory fanfare: “My Little Pony. Do you know you’re all my very best friends?”

Win animation 1: Same as Down taunt.

Win animation 2: Happily floats.

Win animation 3: Flies around, then lands on her side.

Win animation 4: Admires herself in a mirror.

Loss animation: Faints on a couch.

Alternate costumes: Firefly, Heart Throb, G3 Rarity, Original Body (G4 Rarity), Glory, Sparkler, Daring Do, and Fluttershy.

Kirby Hat: Rarity Dash’s ears and custom hairdo and tail.

Trophy description: This alternate dimension Rarity died in an exploding and collapsing gem mine. However, her spirit managed to escape and find herself a copy of Rainbow Dash’s body to climb into. After getting used to doing things with her hooves, wings, and weather manipulation, Rarity fell in love with her new body so much that now she never wants to leave it. To make herself more distinguishable from any Rainbow Dashes, Rarity Dash adopted a custom hairstyle.

A cool alternate version of this could be a alicorn version of Raridash that could use both pegasus and unicorn magic attacks in the game!
