I’m probably the only one that didn’t know where the song was from lol… found it pretty easily by just saying “what is this song” to my phone so it’s not like I searched a long time for it but…

I just tested and even around 5mb is plenty of bitrate to make the 4k version look very decent… in fact, I don’t really see any artifacts at a glance… so why I uploaded a massive 20mb version is beyond me… that’s just 1mbps… huh… guess there isn’t a lot going on in the video and very basic detail  
about 5.5mb audio not included  
and that’s just with slow preset… veryslow has gotta be at least 5-10% more efficient  
So not sure what you mean by “1080p is certainly too big to upload” when I can compress 2160p at a quarter the maximum allowed file size with artifacts barely visible

okay, what the heck.. Handbrake didn’t encode the audio properly so I was going to import the swf into Audacity and reencode with 320kbps Vorbis and use mkvtoolnix to put it together and export as webm but.. when I import the swf into Audacity, not only is the audio about 4.33 seconds off at the end (which I adjusted), I then figured out it’s missing the fart noise before the laughing… idk how it’s missing audio since there’s audio after the missing audio (so it’s not like it just cut off the end) wtf… I just realized I could import the 320kbps Apple AAC file I… wait, why didn’t I just do that… that’d be fine.. gah..

I’m actually not sure it does change it to VP8… the downloaded version is obviously still VP9 but I’m pretty sure it still views as VP9, too  
Because I’m looking at GPU usage and it’s a lot higher on VP9 videos than VP8 videos when just viewing them through browser  
So if it converts to VP8 then that doesn’t make sense  
At least.. I think.. I could be wrong about that GPU usage thing

VP9 gets changed to VP8 after upload; it’d be a way to slip past the limit, but it comes at the risk of quality loss.
