Ok, sorry if I sound like hostil, at least for me it’s kinda difficult know when someone it’s speaking serious and when not in the internet (cause their it’s no fatial expretion and also voice tone)
I think we can consider “Spring Breakdown” an official confirmation that Rarity has a type.
If you mean a type in terms of “like Applejack”, then no, it isn’t. For that to be the case she’d have to have pursued or shown a romantic interest in multiple individuals with the same traits, and that has not (yet) been demonstrated.
But she does have a type, if you count in her Equestrian side’s efforts in this area as well. Appropriately for someone of a dramatic nature, she seems to have a thing for individuals that fulfill a a role in some mental romance novel. Case and point, she’s checked off both the classic “star-crossed lovers from dissimilar social standings” and the “shipboard romance with a lower deckhand” boxes with Ragamuffin, the “famous writer visiting a small town” with Trenderhoof, and a literal “handsome prince” with Blueblood. And you can tell that’s a theme with her because she keeps having her dreams of a whirlwind storybook romance broken when the guys she’s after inevitably don’t live up to how she’s written the story.
Makes you wonder when Rares will learn the lesson.

@Ponysa
Lol, yeah! I’m imagining at later episodes Rarity would keep falling for people with interesting accents along with having blonde hair, green eyes, and freckles. Sheesh Rarity.

well, obviously
Trenderhoof = Alan Wake?
I will take that as a joke.
And they’re all blonde.
And let me guess who’s the princess.

Too bad they won’t do such a scene, but just imagine Rarity going through the photos of the cruise, and finally catching on to the similarities XD

Look maybe he didn’t have it together for that one post. But every now and then we all fall apart, right?
If you aren’t even gonna bother to call her bright eyes, then what’s the point?
