I don’t think ponies live outside of Equestria. Remember the reaction to them when they just barely stepped outside the border and were in Klugetown? There’s too many horse puns as if these were simply more towns inside of Equestria.
I just noticed a disturbing landmark.. Southeast of the badlands… GELDING GROTTO… That is honestly horrifying because we now know that gelding(male castration) is a practice in equestria… And makes me wonder… How often is that a practice? Because i dont like the idea of anypony losing their balls unless they have done some SERIOUSLY unacceptable shit

This is what it makes me think of. See the resemblance? I think a lot of these areas would be fun to play in. Particularly the Fields of Forever look like a high-level, tons of strong monsters area, with Cloud Castle being a potential safe zone and/or dungeon (because castles in that game were mostly dungeons.)
The whole map to the Equestrian Islands, To the East theres Asia, To the SouthWest, theres the Magpie Federation, and to the East thers the 4 Element Islands.
This is pretty glorious! I can see a couple issues where it doesn’t entirely jive with pure Gen IV show canon (such as Somnambula being all the way over in Saddle Arabia rather than “Southern Equestria” as is often described in show) but since it’s integrating all the various canon, some things have to be slightly sacrificed to make it all fit. And I think this fits extremely well!
The biggest feel I got from this was a feel like I was looking at an old CRPG map, such as the early Might and Magics, back when they were a REAL RPG series rather than that bizarre Heroes crap. (I hate Heroes. Fans of it were so pissy about sci-fi being “inappropriate” when sci-fi had been a part of Might and Magic from the very first game.) Like it makes me want to PLAY this Might and Magic game, or at least go and mod Might and Magic III or IV or something to turn said game into this. It’d be way too huge a project for myself, but perhaps something for more ambitious and capable people to consider?
