Indeed. I am gradually making my way through the forest. So far it’s been relatively easy with a full 3x40 team. I just wish they put new pets and retro ponies in a new box rather than expand the old ones.

Unfortunately, they DO. That’s why you don’t see all the ponies maxed out on my collection screen I uploaded. That way I still have some room for quests if I need to do them again in the future.

Hopefully they don’t loop back to the Level Up quests, I’ve got all of them maxed out.

I recommend Maud’s “red ponies only” challenge. Pick all your best red ponies and charge and use their powers one by one. Be aware though that these quests never end and they just wrap back to the beginning after a while.
 
As for the chart, it looks incredibly helpful, but you also need to account for how fast you can complete the level. And if you don’t need any more experience and you are only doing it for the quests, it’s sometimes faster to find one that has a lot of your enemies near the beginning and keep restarting than one that has slightly more of them, but at the very end.

The next stage on the map board says “Coming Soon!” and I remember seeing on EqD somewhere that Budge had said they were working on new levels, but it’s all just vaporware until Google Play Store sends out update notifications.

I FINALLY got all 48 last month, now I’m just waiting on the new content that’s supposedly on its way. I’m going through and doing the sidequests, but I’m stuck on the “Complete 3 stages using all three Pocket Ponies’ Specialties” because that is just hard as heck.
 
All told I got 85 total duplicates, 33 of which were Legendary.

Chests are quick to farm; I know Big Mac’s level has one more chest, but Scootaloo’s level is faster for me. Faster equals more rewards.

You get a Rare box every third go-round of the every-four-hours free gifts, so that in three runs of the freebie board, you get 68 gems if the Rare is a duplicate. On average, I’m getting a Rare box once every four days as a freebie, but it’s only given me one that wasn’t a duplicate once in the last three weeks.
 
Grinding for gems is a hell of a slog, too; out of 18,532 chests I’ve opened so far, only 1,487 have had gems, which is 8%, or a little less than 1 in 12. Of the occasionally-appearing background sparkles, so far 56 out of 312 have had gems, or a little better than 1 in 6.

Welcome to RNG, mothafyaya. :P At least the game sometimes plops a free Rare box down so who knows, you might get them. I just have the Ultra Rares and Legendaries left to get, so I’m more than happy to farm for those. Just 11 figures left to snag…

I’m not even playing it anymore until it stops giving me duplicates; I have three Rares and one Ultra Rare left to collect, but it’s given me 10 dupes in a row, so I’m just collecting the 6 daily gems and the extra 6 or 20 I get from the daily Free Gift Pony being a duplicate and unboxing an Ultra Rare when the total gets over 60.
