Plus, I like the idea of Spike growing up among dragons, this way when he does join the ponies, it will be because he finds a kindred spirit with them.

Well not just dragons in this world, they also have Longmas(Dragon horses)
@TheSultanAkbar Well, if the leaks are to be believed(And so far they have not lied) then it looks like Boulder Animation is putting REAL effort to win the G4 crowd. If the show gets a TV-Y7-FV rating, then the writers will have all the freedom they want to make a powerful story.
@TheSultanAkbar I do not think Hasbro is going to get rid of the G4 immediately G5 start, mostly because of the fandom. It's like with Transformers G1, they still do comics and toys because there are fans who buy them.
@SecretTitan I haven't said anything. It very much could be an illusion or such. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE HASBRO DOES NOT MAKE THE SHOW, why does everyone keep saying that?! Ever heard of THX media? Or the writers of the show?
@Background Pony #825F At this point you have not realized that Hasbro can troll us like that?. They did it the last season with that ghost Storm King. I'm not against that King Sombra returns but I would not expect everything in the trailer to be done as expected.
@SecretTitan Well, since the generation is ending so are the comics and the story books and EQG and such, so there is not much point in debating over canon storylines lol.
Besides that the comics and the series are 2 different continuities, the episode still did not come out. It could be a dream sequence or a psychic trap or something like that.
