Y’all remember the MLP episode “Too Many Pinkie Pies”? We’ll I was thinking about how at the end there were two Pinkies left until Dash creates a distraction and one looks away.  
Why was that one fake pinkie so close to beating the real pinkie? My crack theory: she had developed a will to live.
 
INTRODUCING: INKIE
 
After being outed as a fake pinkie and poofed back into magic she is sent flying back to the pool from whence she came. But instead of giving up Inkie fights back and manages to regain her form just before she hits the water!
 
Taking her second chance at life by the reigns she flees ponyville to get far away from the ponies who know the real Pinkie and would recognize her.  
First chance she gets she dyes over her mane and cutie mark with the darkest mane dye she can get her hooves on and starts going by the name Inkie to match.
 
Constantly on the run from the ever expanding amount of people who know real Pinkie, she travels around equestria in an attempt to avoid suspicion, developing her own identity, personality, and acquaintances along the way.
 
Determined to be her own pony she attempts to be the opposite of Pinkie, quiet and standoffish, never sticking around long enough to make friends. Despite her best efforts she is true to her roots and at times she just cant help but laugh and get others to join her in fun.
