They may have had issues in the past, but it’s good to see that Chrysalis was able to “persuade” Cadance to bury the hatchet.
In fact, I don’t believe the two monarchs have ever been closer. The queen has obviously made quite an impression.
Their new “relationship” has certainly been a great boon for Chrysalis. At any rate, she’s been getting a plenty of love out of it.
This is wholesome
Truly, this was the changeling queen’s greatest scheme yet. Now she has her revenge, plenty of love and a delightful new pony servant. I’m sure Cadance won’t be objecting either, now that Chrysalis has stripped her of her free will. She’ll be more than happy to serve and feed her beloved queen, free from the troubles of her former life as a princess.

I can imagine him in the Crystal Empire, gazing longingly into the distance, hoping that Cadance will return one day. The mare that was his wife has been gone for months now, spending all of her time at the Changeling Hive. He’s figured out what’s going on by now, but it’s far too late to do anything about it. All he can hope for is that the changelings will come for him one day. At least then, he might see Cadance again. At least then, the queen may steal his mind as well, releasing him from his despair.
