Interesting. Can you go into more detail regarding the Dazzlings, like how they act know, their interactions with Sunset, if they appear at the end,etc?
@Background Pony #B3EE Basically they go to a music festival where pinkie and Sunset are super obsessed with a pop music duo, and pinkie then acts as an autist and screws up the day for pinkie. Sunset screams angrily at pinkie that she wished she could do the day over WITHOUT HER, and a magic bit of smoke in the background is seen. Sunset then wakes up the next day with it being day one over again.
You have the options of doing things like “play every amusement game”, “Listen to every band”, things like that, or to ask the others for help.
Twilight’s suggestion is to try and break the loop by essentially “break space, break time, or break the festival”, all of which end poorly. You also can try driving away and just leaving, but the van breaks down each time due to stranger and stranger things, locking you in the loop. There’s also a “mysterious figure” that shows up to laugh or do strange things, but that turns out to just be trixie doing “great and powerful” shenanigans trying to be called the music festival fairy.
You get the option to ask princess twilight, and she says a magical artifact that lets you rest time was lost recently, which is obviously what’s causing the problem, and you can investigate.
As one of the options you hear the dazzlings performing and think that its them causing it; a few options later you can get to the lounge and talk to them where they turn out to have been reformed (Hate it) and give sunset a pep talk that makes her realize how much of an ass she’s been to pinkie.
This leads to her doing the day over but being nice to pinkie and thinking of what she wants, and this leads to finding out that the kpop duo are the ones with the time spinner thing, trying to get their performance “just right”, and make them realize their fans are there for them, not a perfect performance

So it’s a total coincidence that all of them gained expert-level musical skills after ponying up for the first time, Rainbow directly channeling magic to beat Trixie in that shred-off, followed by all of them regularly pulling new talents and abilities out of nowhere as the movies went on?
