It seems that Adagio was at worst smothering, otherwise she was always a good mom. Sonata gave us Jack.
 
Aria is still unknown beyond “better mom than Sonata” which isn’t a huge mountain to climb by any means.

honestly, and I’ve said this before, it doesn’t matter how bad Adagio or Aria were as parents in the past, they’ve at least learned to better themselves, whereas Sonata has not

Also didn’t Cadence and Big Mac have another baby? So Hell Adagio can play auntie all she wants with them! Hell even Twilight and Sunset have a baby she can show love too

And this is why we like Aria and Adagio. They know they weren’t always good parents and they clearly feel bad about having been how they used to be. Sonata just doesn’t seem to give a fuck and that’s why she gets so much hate
