Especially in the next panel Luna was also under the impression if that hit, that minotaur would be ground beef.
The “death” part of his punch is probably a reference to the one time Saitama went to punch Genos (that part makes me moist tbh).
The way anon is often drawn in that simplified style throughout the comic is also a nod to OPM, also his baldness too probably, not to mention the whole overwhelming-power-in-a-small-vessel thing.
So the MHA ref is a bit of a stretch, but MHA has been said to share similar themes to OPM sometimes, so its understandable that they think it’s a reference to it.

Correct. He’s been doing a decent amount of official comic work for IDW now, including #73 most recently.
From what I understand, he’s also making actual IDW comics now as well, so I’d imagine that eats into a lot of his time.

I don’t she exerted that much to take out the Minotaur. Celestia had to do that to incapacitate a other god.
