Faerie Sky does not like cutting his mane, so it usually ranges in length from medium-long to seriously-you’re-stepping-on-it-we’re-cutting-it-wether-you-like-it-or-not. His mane has a tendency to grow really quickly too, so that doesn’t help the situation. And he likes to have a long mane because it looks really pretty, swishes funnily, can be braided and put up into many different nice mane-styles. He would probably often get confused with a filly, since foals are generally very androgynous and long manes are considered a more feminine style, but everyone in the empire knows who he is -actually, he’s caused a bit of a trend with colts growing their manes out.
