hmmm cashmere sounds like a cutie n I def love the cat/dog sibling dynamic, I can def see Cashmere as a fluff, I guess it depends if you wanna go with afgahns being big stalks n make the DD bigger or subvert real life n make Cashmere a big bro :V

Some of the early promotional material from before the movie came out helped with a bit of that surge as well. But I think since Tempest got so popular in the fandom, a lot of the other movie characters got left behind in the fanbase. Plus the show more or less brushed off Abyssinians and Capper too when they brought up things from the movie (Hippogriffs got the lions share of attention while Tempest and the Storm King were brought up a few times). Add all of this with the fact that there’s lots of more popular Rarity ships and that some people in the fanbase openly hate furries (and anthro characters) and I can see why Capperty kinda just trickled out.
 
I’m still debating on whether to make Cashmere small (like a pony), around the same size as Capper, or taller than Capper (since Ragdolls are the gentle giants of the cat world). But otherwise, I think I have a general idea of what he would look and act like.
 
I love both dogs and cats so it felt just right that I do this. Plus, I have a friend here who loves Diamond Dogs and Rarity and she had a few avatars here with Rarity as a Diamond Dog so that more or less inspired me to give Rarity a Diamond Dog daughter. I did also have the idea of Limestone also adopting a Diamond Dog too so Jewel probably won’t be the only Diamond Dog Next Gen OC I have.
 
I don’t think I’d be comfortable calling you Trash, so Eqq it is then.

I just more or less shrugged it off to it being a different universe but I can see where you’re coming from. It’s a pretty interesting headcanon even though it has a few downsides for fan related stuff.
 
I might have to do the same and just start drawing and posting them so I can at least finish some of them. And the pairing I opted for was Capper/Rarity and I gave them two children. Cashmere is their biological son and he’s based off a Ragdoll. Their adoptive daughter is a Diamond Dog named Jewel and she’s based off an Afghan Hound.

Yeah, a lot of stuff seems odd, everyone is cramped into highschool independent from what their work or seeming age is in equestria, it always seemed a bit off to me so that headcanon kinda solidified in my mind sigh  
it’s cool but makes it hard to work with sunset ehgg

That’s actually a pretty interesting headcanon and does explain why others are banished there. I had a similar idea of it being sort of a magical prison but I never really had the idea of the humans there being illusions.
 
You haven’t seen it yet because I haven’t posted anything about it yet. Partially because of my insecurities with my art and partially because I’m still developing things there. So far the only thing I know for sure that’s going to be in the final thing is Rarity’s pairing and offspring. But otherwise, things are very much a work in progress.

Aww man I feel you, I have truoble with the general continuity with eqg n can’t get away from the headcanon that it’s more of a simulated universe used as a prison for certain magical entities.

Fair enough reasonings. I’m kinda having trouble with some of the EQG characters for my Next Gen stuff too so I understand.

Also, how about your favorite boys (Spike and Zeyphr)? Who are they paired with?

I mean I do love Sunset to bits n got ideas about her in general but eqg in general seems like an unstable universe to me so traveling around doesn’t quite sit well with me, there is the possibility of moving at least sunset back to equestria but I haven’t 100% decided on what to do with her (or the sirens) yet

Nice ship. And I think you should. You did have that idea with bringing the EQG cast to Equestria so maybe you can build upon that idea if anything? If not, there’s always the idea of having her and Sci-Twi travel back and forth between worlds.
