To me, this is a much more mistreating thing then just some stupid betrayal. Having Tempest end up in a Faustian bargain is much more interest.
Yah, and saving them is probably impossible anyway. I get the feeling the crystal is probably too deeply rooted in the frontal lobe to remove without either killing or lobotomizing the host
True, as the Crystal makes it look as if they are wikkinung serving The Storm King and General Tempest. With them in the army, The Storm Kingdom would become a superpower in no time.

I imagine Spike would cry hard, I doubt he’d commit suicide. But I do feel he’d feel lost.
I wonder what’s he’d do if the crystal was removed? Probably commit suicide, if removing the crystal doesn’t kill him

Yep, Spike is proud of his rank, and proud of the Kingdom(all thanks to the Crystal of Light) he and Commander Twilight we’re part of the Invasion of The Dragonlands, there is a Picture right now with a defeated Ember.
