It’s called physical comedy. At least it was just a one off gag at the beginning and they didn’t try to build an entire episode around it.

In the episode it was never mentioned that poison love will also increase your physical strength. They only stated that Big Mac won’t be able to get away from Cheerlie. Him being able to pull an entire house and 2 mules was only for fun purposes. Since the little kids won’t bother or care to find logic in that.
There was no logic behind it.
He was under the inference of a love poison, giving him the ability to push/pull(mostly pull) Impossibly heavy things in spite of his size.
Him being drugged with poison love won’t affect his physical strength.
